Jose Mourinho has deemed Demba Ba to be surplus to requirements, and even dropped him from his match with Manchester United.
Demba Ba netted a staggering 29 goals in 54 games and, despite his departure, is still thought of highly by the club’s fans.
The powerful forward has only managed 65 minutes of action for the Blues so far this season, and looks set to have a tough fight on his hands to move ahead of Fernando Torres and Romelu Lukaku in the battle for a starting berth.
